Torture’d Shrine Jazz (day 3)

Gold Teeth ~ the strangrr’s story told, I then inscribe it in poetic text The white flesh quakes to the negro soul Chicago! Chicago! ~ Mina Loy (b) 1909

Torture’d Shrine Jazz

she said: there was water everywhere as she walked down the stairs staring at bags of torture’d jazz / her heart slipping down the dialouge of her legs

she said: by the time he reached the distilled summer and thangs were brought to the light she built castles he built houses

they built a house so fast they didn’t pay attention to the windows and doors

she said: there was water everywhere from her heart being cracked / oh pin slipping down the dialouge of her legs crossing the corridor to the street people staring

~Performance Poetic Text

her story x her sound x her water
